REASONS WHY MR. SEMPLE IS NOT RETIRING
(P.A.) Auckland, Oct. 6. The Minister of Works, Mr Semple, speaking at a meeting at New Lynn to-day. said that although he sometimes felt a “bit of spell might do him some good," he was deteimlned to make it impossible for "exploiters of mankind" to take charge of the Dominion again.
"I have decided to box on, because I know the Opposition wants me out, too," said Mr. Semple. "When I realise that, I know I want to help my colleagues to get back on the Treasury Benches."
