FARMER-WATERSIDER JOINT DEPUTATION ABOUT WOOL WEIGHT

(P.A.) Wellington, Oct. 2. Representatives of the Waterside Workers’ Union will be asked to join a committee from Federated Farmers’ in a deputation to the Prime Minister asking for an Increase in the limit weight of wool allowed under the control order issued by the Waterfront Industry Commission. A decision to this effect was made to-day at the conference of Federated Farmers.

It was stated that representatives of the waterside workers, who yesterday had discussed with the meat and wool section of Federated Farmers matters regarding the weight of wool dumps, had shown a desire to cooperate with the producers, and they would probably be prepared to cooperate on the deputation.
