LAW SCHOOL CLASHES
REPORT ON RESIGNATION OF PROFESSOR WANTED
Sydney, March 5. The Senate of Sydney University has asked the Vice-Chancellor. Sir Robert Wallace, to draft a report on the resignation of Professor Williams, a New Zealander, for the information of the State Minister of Education. Mr*. Heffron. The resignation was accepted by the Senate on February 18, 1946. It followed clashes between Professor Williams and Professor Julius Stone concerning the administration of the law school. Professor Williams intends leaving for New Zealand on Friday, if transport is available He will po to Victoria University College, Wellington, as Dean of the Faculty of English and New Zealand Law.
