SANSON NOTES

ANNUAL SCHOOL PICNIC (0.C.) Sanson, March 5. The annual picnic of the Sanson School, held at Foxton Beach last Saturday, proved a most enjoyable function. Transport was provided per medium of buses, and other arrangements made by the committee were excellent. Ice cream, soft drinks and fruit were freely distributed. In the afternoon a sports programme was undertaken. Winners of the events were as follow: Girls’ 100 yards (Standards 5 and 6): Beth Drew 1, Frances Collier 2, Ailsa Fagan 3.
