UNREST IN BERLIN
BRITISH MUST GO ARMED AFTER 9 P.M. I Recd. 11 p.m. Berlin, Dec. 20. i British Army and civilian car driv- ' ers. as from yesterday, must carry arms and ammunition in the streets of Berlin after 9 p.m. Armed escort must, accompany women drivers. The Hamburg radio reported that the Berlin police swooped on city night, clubs last night, and arrested 300 persons, many of whom wore already wanted for a variety of offences. Large quantities of black market, meat, eggs, wines and spirits were found.
