WARTIME SECRET SESSIONS
BRITISH PARLIAMENT DIVIDED AS TO REMOVAL Recd. 5.5 p.m. London, Dee. 20. The House of Commons and the House of Lords yesterday reached entirely different decisions regarding the lifting of the ban on wartime secret sessions. A motion was withdrawn in the Lords after strong opposition. The Commons, however, agreed the ban should be lifted after the Home Secretary. Mr. Herbert Morrison, had given an assurance to members that they would bo adequately protected, both inside and outside the House against , irresponsible or malicious misquota- , tion. .
