BERETS TO BE WORN
GIRLS OF WANGANUI TECHNICAL COLLEGE Reporting to the board of man; agers’ meeting of the Wanganui Technical College, the principal, Mr. J. Dash, said he had advised the president of the Wanganui Retailers Association, Mr. O. Warnock, the desire to substitute berets for the present unsatisfactory felt hat worn by girl students. The change, which is not likely to take place for some considerable time yet will be made only when berets of suitable quality are available. Mr. Dash said the announcement will Jessen the risk of retailers carrying large stocks when lhe change-over is made.
