FROZEN STERLING
GREEKS WANT RELEASE Recd. 6 p.m. Athens, Nov. 14. Mr. Hector McNeil, leader of the British mission, conferred with Prime Minister Canellopoulos. The points discussed included, the request of Greece for the unfreezing of £8.500,000 sterling of Greek funds held by Britain as the result of credits advanced In Greece for the maintenance of British troops. Greece wishes to use these sterling credits for purchases in the sterling area.
