WANGANUI RED CROSS SUBCENTRE MEETING
Sister H. R. Williams presided over the monthly meeting of trainees of the Wanganui Red Cross sub-Centrp, when it was decided that the competition for the Lattey-Williams Cup would be postponed until the New Year. The Red Cross V.A.’s were asked to supply three trainees wearing indoor nursing, outdoor and transport uniforms, for the pageant of nursing to be held at Cook's Gardens on November 15.

Beaven, who has taken a nositior. at the Palmerston North Hospital, was received with regret The social evening for the wind-up of the year's activities is to be Held in the Red Cross rooms on December 4, and it is hoped that a large gathering of members and friends will be present.
