GROOM’S FINGER BITTEN OFF BY STALLION
(PA.) Christchurch, Nov. 9. Among accident victims at the Canterbury A. and P. Show to-day was a groom who had the index finger of his letf hand bitten off by a stallion. He was A. Stewart, employed by the studmaster C. S. Donald. The stallion bit the linger almost to the knuckle, the tendons being exposed. After treatment by the St. John Ambulance Stewart was taken to the Christchurch Hospital. His condition was reported to be satisfactory.
