RAILWAY SMASH IN INDIA
FIVE DEAD, FORTY INJURED Recd. 6 p.m. Calcutta, Nov. 7. Five persons are <;n for known to have been killed and 40 injured when the Darjeeling express collided headon with the north Bengal express. The Governor of Bengal, Mr. R. G. Casey, was travelling from Darjeeling to Calcutta in a duplicate train immediately preceding the Darjeeling express.
