BRITAIN WANTS MACHINERY Recd. 6 p.m. London, Nov. 7. One of the British proposals for the Reparations Conference opening in Paris on Friday is that machinery from the Hermann Goering Works should be brought to Britain in the near future, says the Press Association’s diplomatic correspondent. Delivery would be an advance against Britain’s reparations account. There is a great, need for new plant for the British iron and steel industry, and it is estimated that machinery from the Hermann Goering plant would save five years otherwise needed for reconstruction and modernisation, and that the industry and th country would benefit by millions of pounds. _____________
