SCHOOL SECTION JUDGED AWARDS FROM VARIOUS CLASSES Open to children attending primary schools in ail pans of the Wanganui Education Board's district, the school section of the Wanganui Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s spring show has attracted large entries. These have already been judged and the awards announced. Some years ago the school section was discontinued because of a reluctance of teachers to engage pupils in activities which would interfere with their preparation for annual examinations. A schedule was con. sequently evolved which provided for the closing of entries in this section long before final training for examinations was begun. The schedule was approved by the Wanganui Education Board and a copy despatched to the head teacher of every school in the district.
