MR. CHURCHILL PRAISED
RANGITIKEI COUNTY TRIBUTE Praise for Mr. Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of Great Britain during the critical years of World War 11, was expressed by the Rangitikei County Council it its monthly meeting yesterday. The following resolution was carried unanimously: “At this first meeting of the Rangitikei County Council after the termination of the war we wish to place on record our deep appreciation of the great services rendered by Mr. Winston Churchill to the Empire. By his great courage, when Britain faced the arch enemy alone, and by his steadfast optimism, he safely guided our destinies to complete and final victory.”
