MARTOX. Advice has been received by Mrs. J. L. Hunt, ci Marton, tnat her husiband, Sergt .-Pilot J. Hunt, has received his commission as pilot ofticer of the R.N.Z.A.F. For the past two years he has been instructing at a drome in Canada, and was the only non-commissioned officer at the ’d..ome that held an A.C. category. Major H. D. McManaway, N.Z.E.F., late of Rata, leaves for India shortly, in connection with the engineering services. Mrs. L. \V. Dornbusch, of Marton, has received advice that her husoand has gained his commission and is now pilot officer.
