CHINESE REPEL ATTACK
R mu’ 6 X’^ n ’ Chungking, Nov. 15. Phe Chinese have repulsed a new attack in the Tungtin Lake area by the reinforced Japanese forces, states a communique. The Chinese also killed, more than 400 Japanese after a three-day battle on the Salween. Bombers of the 14th U.S. Air Force aided the hard-pressed Chinese by pounding the enemy base at LuneMnz and hitting the barracks.
