PRICES OF POTATOES
(P.A.) Wellington. Sept. 30. An amended Price Order has been issued to fix the wholesale price of potatoes as from to-day. The new prices are: Main crop Sutton's Supreme and King Edward potatoes grown in the South Island £lO 15s a ton; others £lO ss. North Island potatoes, £l2 15s. Bagged potatoes may have a maximum of 10s a ton added. Retail prices are not changed.
