OBITUARY
MRS. E. CLOUT. The death has occurred in Auckland of an old resident of the Huntly and Rotowaro districts, Mrs. Elizabeth Clout, wife of the late Mr. John James Clout, of Rotowaro. Mrs. Clout was born in Cumberland, England. 65 years ago, and came to New Zealand with her mother, the late Mrs. Jane Troughear, when she was three years of age. She resided in the South Island for some years, later going, to reside at Kimihia. Marrying Mr. Clout at Huntly 46 years ago. she lived there for over 20 years, and later moved to Rotowaro. where she resided for 25 years. Her husband died in 1937 and she is survived by one son and three daughters. There are seven grandchildren.
