BOYJCS—IKIN A charming water lily wedding, with cream and blue as the colour scheme, took place in Wellington on Monday evening at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. The bride was Pairiciai Jane, eldest daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Ikin, Karon, and the bridegroom Arthur Lyell, only son ot Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Boyes, Wanganui. Patterned cream georgette over striped tulle fashioned the lovely gown worn by the bride, who was given away by her father. The neckline and the matching full-sleeved georgette jacket were banded with blue ribbon velvet. Also worn was a shoulder-length veil of tulle held in place by a spray of cream water lilies. The bride carried a blue velvet goldclasped prayer book, with a trail of lilies. The book, which is 100 years old, was the gift of the bridegroom’s father. , , , The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Katherine Ikin, who wore a frock of powder blue slik crepe, with tucked bodice, pointed neckline, short sleeves and full gored skirt. She was assisted by Mrs. Boyes, whose model black and white evening ensemble featured tiny white appllqued leaves outlining the corsage of the black gown, and black leaves appllqued to correspond on the small white coatee. She also wore a white fox fur and a shoulder spray ot red roses. For travelling the bride wore a smartly tailored navy blue frock with a small coatee embossed with an allover pattern. A charming navy blue Pagel straw hat and navy georgette bag and gloves were her accessories.
