DOMESTIC HELP
REGULATIONS RELAXED IN AUSTRALIA Canberra, Dec. 30. New national security regulations restricting the employment of domestic servants have been gazetted. The new regulations are not as severe as the earlier order gazetted on December'2. but never enforced, and now repealed. The earlier order provided that a oermit must be obtained if a servant is employed for more than 24 hours weekly. Under the new regulations permits will not be necessary for the employment of domestic servants, provided their aggregate hours do not exceed 48 weekly. This means that any household can employ one servant.
