MATRICULATION EXAMS.

STUDENTS MAY APPEAL (P.A.) Wellington, Sept. 25. So that matriculation students who are called for military service mayhave an opportunity to sit for examinations, appeal boards have been recommended to grant postponement of mobilisation, the Hon. W. J. Broadfoot announced to-night. Notice of appeal on grounds of undue hardship must be lodged by the student and the appeal must be supported by a certificate from the principal of a college to the effect that the student is full time studying for matriculation and has reasonable prospects of success.
