MORE MONEY NEEDED
AMERICAN WAR RISK FUND Washington, May 18. The House of Representatives Appropriations Committee approved a 210,000,000-dollar increase in the Marine and War Risk Insurance Fund. The committee reported to-day that the losses of American ships already exceeded those of the last war, and ■ told the House that the insurance ; fund was liable for more than a ship daily at the present rate of sinkings.
