SECRET SESSION

PARLIAMENT’S DISCUSSION (P.A.) Wellington, March 18. The secret session ol the House ol Representatives which began on Tuesday evening to enable members to hear and discuss the latest developments in the war situation was con-, tinued to-day and was not completea until 10.30 o’clock to-night. The House adjourned at that stage untie 2.30 to-morrow, when it will meet in open session. He gave particulars of consultations between representatives of the Dominion and the Australian Government, and of the progress made in perfecting and co-ordinating control of Allied operations in the Anzac Area and Ir. the Pacific generally. Particular’s were given of the measures taken for improving the defence of this country and other places for which it is responsible, and for the provision of the necessary arms and equipment Messrs. Sullivan and Coates, members of the War Cabinet, added details ol the consultations they had in Australia with the political and military chiefs of that country and with the military representatives from the United States. Twenty speakers took part in the discussion, in addition to the Prime Minister."
