The Standard Insurance Company, Limited, has advised the Stock Exchange Association that a final dividend of Is 3d a share has been declared. The share register will be closed on August 19. The total distribution for the year is 2s 6d a share, equivalent to 121 per cent., an unchanged rate. PRICE OF TIN London, Aug. 8. The price of tin is quoted as follows; —Spot, buyers £256 10s a ton, sellers £256 15s; forward, buyers £259 15s, sellers £260. BRITISH TOBACCO SHARE LIST British Tobacco Company (Australia). Limited, recently filed at the Victorian Titles Office its annual return of shareholders. Weighing just on 201 b. and containing 1052 pages, it shows the holdings in the company of about 11,500 shareholders. RAW MATERIALS London, Aug. 9. Friday's closing prices for the following commodities with those for the previous week in parentheses, are as follows: — Rubber.—Para. 17d a lb. (same); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 13 1116d a lb. (131 d Turpentine.—6Bs 6d a cwt. (nominal). . Linseed Oil.—The price is still fixed at £4l 10s a ton.
