MORE MONEY FOR ARMY EXPANSION
15,600 ADDITIONAL PLANES WASHINGTON, Feb. 24. President Roosevelt has asked Congress for additional army appropriations totalling 3,812.000,000 dollars. The request included 888.000,000 dollars in cash and 524,000,000 dollars in contract authority for the expansion of the Air Force. It is understood the programme provides for 15. 600 additional planes, making a total on order of 34,600.
