CRICKET AT WAIOURU CAMP
WELLINGTON BATTALION BEATS HAWKE’S BAY TAIHAPE COMPETITION LADDER A match was played at the Waiouru Military Camp during the week-end between the Second Battalion, Wellington Regiment, and the Second Battalion, Hawke’s Bay Regiment, and resulted in a win for Wellington by three wickets and 131 runs. Hawke’s Bay batted first, but were all out for 92 runs (Balfour, not out, 43, Renshaw 14, Dungan 12).
