i MEETING AT MOTUKARARA ' PROSPECTS REX lEW ED Providing an opportunity for horses engaged at Riccarton to have a fulldress rehearsal, the Banks Peninsula Racing Club's meeting will be held at the Motukarara course to-day. The betting system will.be win-and-placc. New Zealand Cup candidates engaged in the J. F. Buchanan Memorial include Passaform, Dictate, Swordstock, Settlement, Spartan, The Wrecker and Capricious. Dictate won this race last year. Stewards' Handicap candidates engaged in the Le Bons Handicap are Paper Slipper, Nightcalm, Toro-Koura and Skyrena. Paper Slipper has won the Stewards' Handicap on two occasions, but he has 9.9 here to-day. Last year he was unplaced in the Le Bons Handicap, being caught in the tapes, Lady Leigh winning from Nightcalm and P-abblc.
