Wainwright, Richards Downey. Paterson. PATEA LAWN TENNIS CLUB Arrangements were made for th< official opening of the Patea Lawr Tennis Club to-day at a meeting o the committee this week. It was left to the club captain, Mr. A. H. Rich ards, to arrange the Yankee tourna ment. Delegates to the South Taranak L.T.A. were instructed to support th' continuation of inter-club competi tions, and a short discussion on th' advisability of entering an A grad team in the competitions took place. Two new members were elected and the secretary advised that ther were four more intending members. The secretary was empowered t< take action in the recovery of out standing subscriptions. Mr. L. R. Francis presided.
