POINT-TO-POINT MEETING AT MARTON NOMINATIONS DIE TO-NIGHT Hunting enthusiast?. will have a busy time during th? coming week. On Saturday the Rangitikei Hun’ Club's annual totalisator meeting will be held at the Marton racecourse, and this will be followed, on Wednesday next, by the samp club's annual point-to-point steeplechase meeting at the property of Mr. L. H. S. Marshall. “Makoiti,” Fern Flats. Marton. The following Saturday the Manawatu Hun! Club's totalisator meeting will be held at the Awapuni course. An attractive programme has been arranged for the point-to-point meeting. For the Ladies’ Hunter event trophies have been donated by Messrs. A. McPherson and P. D. Wootton. In the Makoiti Steeplechase the distance to be covered will be about two miles and the weight 12.7. The trophies have oeen donated by Miss N. Lampp and Mrs. H. B. Johnston. Miss E.
