MEETING ON SATURDAY LIST OF ACCEPTANCES

SATURDAY'S RACE MEETING T RAIN A RRAN'G EM E NTS liir annual iace meeting of tn Rangitikei Hunt Club will be held on the Marton Racecjurse on Saturday. July 22. Splendid acceptances have been r.c civeu and there is every indication of a record meeting. The totalizator will be .-ingl«‘-puui, first and second horses, and an indicator will also b * install d. The first race will start at 12 noon. Special excursion train tickets are available up to ana including Monday, July 24. Special trains will leave Palmerston North at 9.30 a.m., Wanganui 9.5 a.m., and Taihape at 8.35 a.m., arriving at Marton at 10.49 a.m., 10.57 a.m.. and 10.50 a.m., respectively, stopping at all intermediate stations for passengeis. The lawn charges are; Gents ss, ladies 2s 6d, and cars 2s 6d. The catering will be done by Dustin’s. Ltd., and the publican's booth will be under the direction of Mr. G. L. B. Whillans, oi Woodville.
