1 CHARGE AT WAVERLEY I FINE OF £lO IMPOSED I As a result of a visit paid to premi ises at Waverley, on Saturday, by , Detective J. Murray, accompanied by • Constable J. R. C. Smith, George • Bosher appeared before Messrs. W. • J. Jeffries and J. E. Palmer, J.P’s. in the afternoon, on a charge of keep- ■ ing a common gaming house. He was ; fined £lO and 10s costs. Detective Murray, who conducted the case for the police, stated that ; he and Constable Smith had executed a search warrant and had found a small quantity of betting material.
