OHAKUNE VALEDICTORY
(Own Correspondent'. . OHAKUNE. June IS. I.ast week Mr. T. Foster, of the New Zealand railways, who has resided in Ohakune for the past ten years, and who is now on transfer, was the guest of Ihe R.S.A.. Ohakune Bowling Club and railway to an indoor howling afternoon. Some very enjoyable games were played. Mr. Power being in charge. During the afternoon Messrs. Mahony. McLeod, Watson. L. Taylor and S. McDowell spo’.e on the many good qualities of the departing guest, and of Ihe keen interest he had displayed in many 7 of the town’s activities. All wished him the very best of luck 1n his new home and that ho would always think of his many happy associations in this district. Mr. Foster suitably replied, thanking all for the fine afternoon.
