MEETING AT TAIHAPE (Own Correspondent). TAIHAPE, June 19. The monthly meeting of the general committee of the Rangitikei A. and P. Association was held on Saturday afternoon. The following were aceprded a hearty vole of thanks for donations towards the annual ball: Messrs. F. Garmonsvvay, D. L. Broome, W. N. Anderson, L, O'Callaghan, E, R. Fannin. The chairman reported that Mr. J. Goodwin had offered to replace a cup which had been won outright. The donor was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. Mr. W. N. Anderson gave notice of his intention to move the following motion at the annual meeting next month: “The affairs of the association shall be managed by a president, vice-presidents (not exceeding four), treasurer, and a committee of 20 elected members who shall have power to appoint not more than six district representatives as -additional members of the committee, each member to reside in the district he represents. All past presidents shall be members ex-officio of the committee.” The monthly financial statement disclosing a credit of £332 9s Id on April 30, 1939, was adopted. The balance at end of April last, year was £3lO 6s Id. compared with £316 16s 3d at the end of April, 1937. r TAIHAPE HARRIER ( LUB During the week-end a handicap run was held over the Hautapu course of 51 miles by members of the Taihape Harrier Club.
