BOY TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FIBER OF SHOT NOT SEEN | Per Press As. o< lation. | GISBORNE. April 26. Struck by a pea-rifle bullet while walking over th? hills near Wainui Beach, Robert McConnell, aged 15, was admitted to hospital. An operation was successful and the boy’s condition is satisfactory. The source of the shot is a mystery as neither McConnell nor his two companions saw anyone in the vicinity or heard the shot.
