RAETIHI v. OHAKVNE CONVENT (Own Correspondent.) In their first matches played at Ohakune the Raetihi School teams were successful in both the cricket and baseball games. At baseball Raetihi scored 107 points to Convent’s 54. For Raetihi Phyllis Clegg was top scorer and earned 36 for her side. Evelyn Goldfinch scored 20 points of Convent's total. At cricket Raetihi was much too strong. They dismissed Convent for 19 runs, largely through the bowling of W. Haitana, who took six wickets. Raetihi. in their turn at the crease, made 46 runs. The top-scorer was R. Rickards (14) and many of his teammates retired without being bowled.
