The .school garden plots were recently judged by Mr. Robbie, who was vvery pleased with the results. Next year, with the ground prepared as it is now. we siiould make a great showing. I am allowing the children to have their vegetables, as after all, the prime purpose of a garden is to raise vegetables for table use. The results of lhe judging of the children's plots were: Joan Thorn, 93 points, and Maureen O'Connor, 93 points, equal 1; Irene Levctt, 86 points, 2. As lhe total marks awarded Io the plots were 100, these results are very satisfactory, indeed. They are the second highest of the Taihape group, one pupil at. Hihitahi scoring 94 points.
