i Own Correspondent.) BULLS, April 19. Inttuenza is prevalent here at present, and several businesses are shorthanded in consequence. The ailment is also affecting farming people, and it is of a more severe type than usual. The contractor for alterations and additions to the stewards' stand on the local racecourse is making good progress during the long dry spell, and this week the course has been attended to also, soil being spread and lolled preparatory to sowing. The postponed meeting of the Town Board will be held this evening. The Rangitikei Golf Club's season will open on Saturday, mixed foursomes being played, the draw taking place at the golf house at 1.15 p.m.
