HITHER AND THITHER
Picture and Supper Party. Mrs. Claud Smith, Brunswick, entertained about 40 guests on Saturday to a picture party, followed by a supper party at her home, "Wainui,” in honour of her son, Mr. R. G. Smith, and Miss Joyce Bassett, whose marriage takes place to-morrow. Grand Dance. To-morrow night, Tuesday, in the Nukumaru Hall, is to be held another grand dance. The music is to be supplied by Jack Hooker and his swing band. There is a good floor and there will be novelty dances. A good supper is being provided and altogether a first-class evening’s entertainment is assured patrons.
