A wedding of New Plymouth interest was celebrate in St. Mary's Church, Raetihi, on February ill, when Joyce, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terrill, Wanganui, was married to Eddie, only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Y’ork, Erua. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Underhill and the wedding march was played by the choirmaster. The bride entered the church with her father and looked charming in a gown of white satin with a tight-fit-ting bodice and long sleeves. Her veil of Brussels net was held in place with orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were the Misses Tiiea and Valda York, cousins of the bridegroom. They wore pale green and mauve satin frocks with tightfittmg bodices and flared skirts. Their head-dresses were of variegated tulle and their bouquets of roses and carnations and maidenhair fern. The flower girls were little Shirley and Joy Kerr, neices of the bridegroom. They wore pale green satin frocks and carried baskets of flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Gordon Neilson as best man and Mr. Leo Trillo was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the hall at Ohakune, where the bride’s eldest sister, Mrs. O'Learn, and the bridegroom’s mother received the guests. Mrs. O'Learn was wearing a navy costume with hat and I shoes to match and carried a lovelj bouquet and Mrs. Mrs., the bridegroom’s mother, wore a brown labored costume with a fox fur and hal tc lone. She carried a bouquet of gladioli. The future home of the bride and | bridegroom will be at Taumarunui.
