ADVERSE BALANCE
FINANCES OF OLD KEICH COMPARISON WITH 1937 Received Feb. 2, 5.5 p.m. BERLIN, Feb. 1. The adverse balance of trade for the old Reich last year was £16,000,000, compared with a favourable balance of £34,000,000 in 1937. Imports last year were £454,000,000, compared with £448,000,000 and exports were £438,000,000 compared with £482,000,000. The figures for 1937 exclude trade with Austria.
