Mr. and Mrs. W. Kettle, Napier, were week-end visitors to Wanganui.’ Mr. and Mrs. de Lautour, of Taihape, have been paying a brief visit to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. J. Clarke, of Hastings, were in Wanganui during the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. F. Lomas were Wanganui visitors to Wellington for the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Robinson, of Papanui, South Island, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Robinson in Wanganui. Miss Valerie Howells, Wanganui, is visiting Christchurch, and is the guest of Mrs. W. S. Jones. Mesdames P. S. Whitlock, W. Howells, and F. Denton leave to-day to represent Trinity Missionary Auxiliary at the vlethodist Missionary Conference, which is being held at Feeding during this week. Miss Nancy Lyons, Wellington, is spending a holiday in Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. F. J. Doolan, Kawatiri Avenue, Gonville. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McLeod, Sanson, were visitors to Wanganui for the Blair—Barber wedding, and spent th: week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J. McL. Blair, Maxwell.

Miss Patricia Riddiford and Miss Valerie Riddiford, who have been in England for the past three years, have returned to New Zealand and will visi- their aunt, Mrs. Arkwright, Marton, before going to Christchurch to join their mother, Mrs. H. F. Nicoll.
