BASKETBALL The basketball season will open today, when Bulls and Rangiotu clubs will play a match on Bulls Domain, commencing at 2 p.m. The Bui's team will be as follows: Misses V. McCabe, V. Botcher, F. Field, K. Christian, N. Adin and E. Mullions; Mrs Jeffries; and Misses Minnie Kearney and J. Smith. Emergency, Miss M. Logan. The annual general meeting of the Bulls Basketball Club was held last week, Mr L. Meads presiding over a good attendance of members. The balance-sheet showed that the club is in a sound financial position, the bank credit being £7 4s lid. The prospects for the coming season are very bright. The following officers were elected. Patron, Mr F. J. Watson; president, Mr L. Meads; vice-presidents, Messrs F. J. Ellis. J. J. Mansell. C. E. Vile, F. A. Holland and K. W. Dalrymple;
