FORDELL W.E.A.
The Fordell branch of Ihe W.E.A. held its first, session of 1933 last Tuesday evening at “Netherdale.’’ and a welcome was extended to members old and new. The course chosen for this year is “International Issues,” and the first paper, "Can We Abolish War,” by Hon. Downie Stewart, gave rise to some very interesting discussion. The majority of the circle agreed that war could be abolished, but the methods to be employed will give rise to much discussion in subsequent meetings. One member of the group had committed his ideas for the abolition of war to paper, a form of individual comment highly recommended and encouraged by the W.E.A. I
