STANTIALL—COHR. | A. very pretty wedding was solem- j nised on April 14, at St. Andrews | Church, Palmerston North, when Anna Emily, fourth daughter of Mr. C. Cohr, of Kairanga, was married to Sidney, fourth son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stantiall, of Greatford. The bride entered the church wearing an exquisite frock of Lido blue, with hat and accessories to match. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Hilda Cohr, wearing shell pink faille frock. The bride carried a dainty bouquet of white roses, carnations and begonias, while her ’maids bouquet was of golden chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bride’s mother wore a frock of navy georgette and lace, and carried a bouquet of autumn blooms. The cake, which was much admired, was made by the bride’s mother. The bride’s gift to the bridegroom was a travelling rug, and the bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a cheque. The bridesmaid’s gift from the bridegroom was a signet ring. When the newly married couple left for the honeymoon, which was spent in the Hawke's Bay district, the bride was wearing a navy and white autumn costume with navy accessories to tone.

JOI INSTON—CHALDF.COTT St. Peter’s Church, Gonville, attractively decorated by girl friends of the bride with pink and blue hydrangeas, was the scene of a quiet wedding on Saturday morning, when the marriage was solemnised by the Rev. C. W. Soloman, of Joan Bristoe, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B Chaldecott, Gonville, and Waiter Francis, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Johnston, Tauranga. The bride, who entered the church escorted by her father, wore a petrel blue lace and georgette frock with nigger brown hat and accessories. She carried a dainty bouquet of pale pink rose-buds and maidenhair fern. Attending the bride was Miss Joan Cooper, wearing a frock of shell-pink cloque and lace, with a beige hat, and accessories. Her bouquet was of deep pink rose-buds. Little Dawn Henty, niece of the bride, was also in attendance, wearing a dainty white peasant frock embroidered in red.
