S I AN LE Y—DICK IN SON A wedding of great interest to Mangaweka and Taihape residents was celebrated in St. Paul's Church, Devonport, on Saturday, when Miss Florence Dickinson,of Whangarei, was married to Mr. Reg. Stanley, also of Whangarei. The bride is a sister of Mrs. D. Campbell, of Wairoa Road, Devonport. Miss Dickinson who was given away by her uncle, Mr. S. Dickinson, Mangaweka, wore a charming trained gown of white Chantilly lace, featuring the new higher waistline. The simple V neck was filled in with net ruching, and her long tulle veil was crowned with a coronet of the conventional orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of white roses and dahlias. Miss Ida Dickinson, cf Mangaweka, cousin of the bride, chose a frock of pink georgette, cut with a small basque and puffed sleeves. A circlet of pink roses and silver leaves formed her head-dress and she carried an armlet of pin*, roses and dahlias. Little Heather Campbell acted as flower girl in a period frock of Nile green georgette, she hud a similar circlet or Howers and silver leaves in her hair, and carried a Victorian po.-y of flowers. Mr. H. Haswell, of Albany, was best man. Mrs. Campbcb was hostess at the reception which was held a; her residence. She wore a black tinsel velvet gown with sa&a of flame and gold. Mrs. S. Dickinson, aunt of the bride (Mangaweka), wore a royal cloque, with hht to tone, and she carried an autumn tinted biuquet. Mrs. W. F. Stanley, mother of the groom, had a smart frock of cyclamen wool georgette and hat to match, she also carried a bouquet of autumn tinted dahlias and maidenhair fern. When Mr. and Mrs. Stanley left on their honeymoon, the bride wore a navy pin stripe costume, with a navy velour hat and a handsome stone marten stole.
