SPECIAL RACE NIGHT ATTRACTION
LEO JENSEN v. JACK KENNEDY TWO FAST WORKERS. The president of the War/’.inui Wrestling Association (Mr. J. Goss) finalised arrangements yesterday for the second bout of the season, which will take place on Thursday, May 12 (race night). The contestants are Leo Jensen and Jack Kennedy. Jensen, by the splendid exhibition he put up against Blomficld, gained a host of followers locally who will be pleased to see him in action again. Kennedy, who carries over 16 stone in his powerful 6ft. frame, is a splendid physical specimen, while his wrestling ability has been proved time and again in matches against wrestlers of the top ranking in the States. He pursues fast and vigorous tactics th» whole time and makes the best possible use of his size and strength. These two matmen are of the type that the New Zealand public likes best, so it snould be one of the fastest and most thrilling contests the local association has yet promoted
