MISS MARJORY KNIGHT
\ISIT TO WANG AM I On Monday evening last, Christ Church Schoolroom was the scene of much activity, when Wanganui and Marton Guiders spent a very enjoyable and instructive three hours with Miss Marjory Knight. Books and pencils were well to the fore taking down notes of the many games, songs and new ideas which everyone was eager to remember, with the idea of taking these back to their respective Guide companies. Altogether the time passed far too quickly, but as “all good things must come to an end” the meeting closed with ihe singing of “Taps” at 10.30. Miss Knight is a diploma Guider from England, who is visiting the Dominion giving Guide leaders training in all phases of Guide work. She arrived from New Plymouth on Monday evening, after conducting training classes there, and delivering an tv.dress to New Plymouth Rotarians, and left for Wellington by Tuesday’s Express.
