Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Nelson are Wellington visitors to Wanganui. Mrs. Mackay Turnbull, Mangaweka, visited Wanganui this week. Miss Higginson, of Sydney, is visiting her sister, Miss Higginson, Wanganui. Miss Cohen, Sydney, who has been spending some time in Wanganui, left yesterday for Christchurch. Mrs. B. Lowman, of Waitanguru, and Miss B. M. Lowman, of Dannevirke, are on a visit to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. G. Gibbons, of Raurimu, will arrive in Wanganui to-day for a short stay as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Veitch, St. John’s Hill. Mrs. J. Mackenzie, “Broadwood,” North Auckland, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. R. J. Franklin, returned last week. After spending some months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. ?. Duncan, Hunterville, Mrs. W. P. Leuch, with her small son, will return to London by the Tamaroa. Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, of Auckland, who spent the week-end in Wanganui with Mr. and Mrs. T. Blennerhassett, have gone on to Kakatahi for a few days’ visit to Mr. and Mrs. Ron Maskintosh. Mis Joyce Morris, Tologa Bay, and Miss Monica Murphy, Muriv. ai, who have been staying at Hastings for polo week, are now visiting Wanganui for the Easter festivities. The Misses Wilson, Auckland, left by the Rangitata for London. Miss S. Wilson is Chief Cubmaster for New Zealand, and will combine the interests of that institution with her tour of the Old Country.
