BRADFORD STEADY GOOD CLEARANCE AT LONDON SALES LONDON, March 17. Bradford tops quotations are:— Merinos, 70’s, 28d; 64’s, 261 d; 60’s, 25, Jd. Crossbreds, 58’s, 22d; 56’s, 19Jd; 50's, 17id; 46’s, 17d (nominal); 44’s, 17d (nominal). The market is steady. Yarns are quiet. At the Louden wool sales 8912 bales were offered including 4579 from New Zealand, and 8248 were sold. There was a good selection with a better demand and a good clearance was effected. New Zealand greasy crossbred, Ashcott, mjd and 103 Id; scoured crossbred® N.Z.W.M.A., 14d and 15d. The following cable, has been received by the Bank of Australasia from its London office: —■ London colonial wool sales, tine crossbreds and medium crossbreds par to 5 per cent, cheaper; coarse crossbreds and scoured crossbreds unchanged, compared with closing rates of last series; competition good for Home trade; Russia principal buyer; France, Germany to a moderate extent.
