Prior lo striking the net profit of £114.596 a contribution of £5OOO was made to the staff provident fund. The balance-sheet shows that paid capital is unaltered at £1,250,000. Reserve fund is maintained at £400.000. Deposits are £lB5O higher at £52,671. Creditors amounting lo £303,837 are £37.310 higher. Among the assets, steamships and plants are valued at £91,102 lower at £1,268,313. Investments and cash, however, together show a rise of £135,328. Debtors are £15,466 higher al. £107,290.
